Builder License

This perpetual license covers the purchase and use of NeoDocs Builder and Server software. The Builder is the required software for Output Document Management and Automated Processes and workflow.

DEFINITIONS:

"Software" means the version of NeoDocs Builder that you have purchased or are evaluating and including all the associated documentation and other materials. The Builder includes the Server software.

​

"Commercial Copy" means a copy of the software purchased from us or from an authorised dealer or distributor.

​

"You" means the user of the software. The user is defined as either an individual, company, corporation, or other business entity.

​

"Server" means a computer used as a file server, print server or other type of application server.

​

“Client” means any computer running a Windows desktop operating system whether as a standalone computer or part of a network.

​

"NeoDocs" means NeoDocs-IT Pty Limited. Details for Neodocs-IT Pty Limited can be found at the bottom of this agreement.

 

This is a legal agreement between you and NeoDocs. By using the Software, you are agreeing to be bound by the terms of this Agreement. Do not install the software if you do not agree to the terms of this Agreement.

LICENCE SUMMARY

 

You can install a single Software on 2 Server/Clients per license, but you can only have one of those Server/Client running procedures in production per license. You can install the Software on the second Server/Client to develop procedures and then promote them to the first Server/Client to run in production.

 

The software is deemed to be installed on the computer when it is loaded into permanent memory (e.g., hard disk, CD-ROM, or other storage device) of the Server/Client.

COPYRIGHT

 

The software is owned by NeoDocs and is protected by copyright laws and international treaty provisions and all other applicable national laws. You can make one copy of the software solely for backup purposes unless you have a separate agreement in writing with NeoDocs. You may not copy any of the documentation provided with the software without written consent from NeoDocs.

You must not modify, access the compiled code, or otherwise reverse engineer or merge the software or any part thereof with any other software or change the software in whole or in part, nor allow any other party to do so.  You must not alter or remove any copyright or other intellectual property notifications applied to the software.

 

You must acknowledge that the source code remains the property of NeoDocs and does not transfer to you. You have no rights to the Intellectual property of the software.

SOFTWARE USAGE

 

You assume full responsibility for how you use the software. Any improper use is deemed to be a breach of this license agreement and NeoDocs does not accept any consequences of any such misuse.

 

Any losses which are caused by either misuse or incorrect use of the software are not the responsibility of NeoDocs.

 

NeoDocs will not be held responsible for any procedure created using the Software. All rights and responsibilities to the functionality, accuracy and reliability of procedures created by you are your responsibility.

 

The Software cannot be installed on a network server whether internal or cloud based with the intention of hosting procedures for other users for monetary gain.

EXAMPLE PROCEDURES

 

NeoDocs does not warrant, support, or accept any responsibility for any example or sample procedures that you gain from NeoDocs. It is your responsibility to make sure that any provided examples are appropriate for your use.

LICENSE TERM

 

If you purchase a software upgrade which replaces this software, then the license for that version will apply to the Software.

This license agreement is written and administered under the laws of New South Wales, Australia.
